What if a report could be felt before it was read?

Evidence Atmosphere turns the main signals in a Heatcheck report into a moving cloud. Stronger activity feels hotter and brighter; older information arrives as a cooling front; a more varied mix of sources pulls the form into separate regions.

The cloud is an introduction to the report, not a replacement for it. Exact scores, dates, source counts and provider health remain visible beside the image so the visual impression can always be checked against the numbers.

How to read the cloud

    Brightness and heat show the overall strength of the current signal.

  2. 02Watch the edge

    A steady boundary suggests confidence; a softer boundary suggests uncertainty.

  3. 03Notice the cool areas

    Blue penetration shows information losing freshness, even when the score remains high.

  4. 04Read the shape

    Separated lobes suggest a more varied mix of sources and activity.

  5. 05Check the ledger

    The adjacent numbers remain the authoritative description of the report.

One report becomes a visual weather system.

The experiment assigns a different visual job to each report value. This prevents one dramatic color from pretending to explain everything.

Heat controls the glowing center. Confidence changes how stable the edge feels. Freshness determines how far cooling enters the form. Movement, relevance, audience, source variety and social response shape speed, cohesion, scale and surface activity.

A particle can stand for one example evidence item. Warm particles represent publication items and blue particles represent social items. Their trails help the eye follow motion, but the trails do not count as extra evidence.

For curious readers: the cloud is drawn as a volume, which means the browser samples many points through an invisible three-dimensional field. The exact report values remain ordinary text so the experience is still understandable when the visual cannot be seen.

How a report becomes atmosphere

The same translation rules are applied every time, so a given example report produces the same starting form and the same evidence identities.

Why mix feeling with measurement?

A familiar table is excellent for checking facts, but it can be slow to communicate the overall condition of a changing campaign. A thermal field can give the viewer a fast sense of intensity, stability and freshness before they examine the detail.

Used carefully, this could create report openings, presentation transitions and social motion pieces that feel connected to real evidence. The visual layer should invite attention and comparison; it should never hide or rewrite the underlying figures.

What this study does not prove

  • The current reports are repeatable examples, not live campaign reports or published client evidence.
  • Particle positions, trails and arrow directions are expressive motion. They are not added facts or claims of cause and effect.
  • The cloud is not a precise three-dimensional chart and distance inside it has no standalone statistical meaning.
  • Any Heatcheck product use still needs accessibility, performance, data-mapping and product review in its final context.

What the views and layers reveal

The controls change how the same report is examined. They do not alter its scores or create new evidence.

    Offers a broad, slowly moving overview of the whole form.

    Looks across the boundary to make cooling, porosity and surface movement more visible.

  6. Signal swarm

    Shows or hides the evidence particles while leaving the report and thermal body unchanged.
